Chikwendu-Ikechebelu Onyinye

Onyinye is a member of project and asset finance group in Omaplex specializing in project and asset finance and focusing on international aviation and shipping finance transactions.

Her experience includes export credit agency-supported financings, commercial debt financings, operating, finance and tax-based lease structures, restructurings, re-financings and aircraft sales and purchases.

Ibude Festus

Festus is the Team leader of the Dispute Resolution/Litigation Group. He focuses his practice on working with clients to manage crises and defend complex multiparty and multi-jurisdictional matters. He handles a diverse range of litigation matters in State and Federal Courts across the country, with interest in civil and criminal litigations. Festus also has significant experience defending class actions and election petitions.

Festus has represented private clients and government agencies in crisis management situations, including engaging with regulators and law enforcement, developing litigation strategy, and defending clients through all stages of litigation and arbitration.

Oladipo John O.

John is a member of the Firm’s Technology Practice group where he focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Internet of Things, Blockchain and other emerging areas of law in the technological space. He has extensive experience in Information Technology and business process outsourcings, cloud and “as a service” offerings.

He has authored and co-authored numerous insightful publications related to the jurisdictional legal framework of financial technology, internet of things and other emerging areas of law. He is also a key contributor to the Firm’s monthly publications, which span across various areas of law.

Mustapha Moyosore

Moyosore is an astute legal practitioner who specialises in all aspects of Corporate Commercial Law as well as Entertainment and Real Estate. Moyosore has a holistic perspective on mining matters which covers a broad range of areas, including mergers and acquisitions; conducting corporate, property and due diligences; advising on the integrity, all aspects of regulatory compliance, Licensing, structuring, drafting, negotiating and reviewing various types of agreements, from project inception to execution, disputes and litigation.

Moyosore has particular experience in cross-border and multi-jurisdictional Mergers and acquisition (M&A) and Equity Capital Market ECM transactions in the Corporate Sector, including schemes of arrangement, corporate financing.

Olusegun Sarah

Sarah, is an Energy and Natural resources lawyer with particular experience in the Oil and Gas sector. Her practice focuses on project development, and commercial contract drafting and negotiation, acting for a range of government, IOC’s, energy sector investors. She also has specific experience in the LNG and renewables sectors. Her practice also focuses on international corporate and commercial transactions, including asset-based structured financings and related capital markets transactions in the oil and gas, petrochemical and power sectors. Her broad domestic and international experience has given her a thorough grasp of the global oil & gas and power markets.

Akeredolu Oriname

Oriname is a member of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Department, with expertise in Tax Law, Employment and Labour Law.  He represents clients from a wide range of industries in complex and high-stakes litigation; and also in several arbitral panels. His experience in employment related disputes has given him several platforms to advise clients in multifarious transactions such as: extensive restructuring matters, headcount reductions, outsourcing arrangement, employment contracts, consultancy arrangements, executive compensation, termination of employment, and redundancy procedures. His proficiency in Tax Law has also made him represent a broad spectrum of companies in connection with sophisticated domestic and international tax related issues.

Iwodi Agnes Ene

Ene, is a member of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Team and particularly advises on all areas of Family Law, with particular emphasis on advising on future arrangements for children and on the financial claims that arise on divorce and applications to the appropriate Court for financial settlement following an overseas divorce. She has a growing practice in wealth protection via nuptial and cohabitation agreements and also advises on all private children law matters, from disputes about parental arrangements and financial claims to the relocation of children across jurisdictions. She has a great deal of experience in complex cases concerning substantial family wealth and those with an international element, as well as more standard domestic cases.

She has considerable experience of drafting pre and post marital agreements. Her practices encompass a wide range of domestic and international trust and estate. She has an excellent and trusted reputation with her clients, local courts and fellow professionals. She has extensive and compound experience in Matrimonial proceedings which extends to financial settlements as well as Civil Partnerships, Separation, and Prenuptial Agreements.

Ajuyah Tuale Charles

Ezinne is a member of the Firm’s Dispute Resolution Team with focus on intricate Civil Litigation. She has an outstanding experience in contract and business disputes. She has represented major debtors and creditors in high-profile Debt Recovery proceedings.

Additionally, Ezinne being a lawyer with keen interest in upholding human rights for the vulnerable, is both a Legal Professional and a Human Right Defender. Ezinne is very active in the firm’s Human Rights Team and pro-bono matters, which cuts across different areas of Human rights activities such as protecting the rights of women and children domestically abused; sexual harassment and gender discrimination in office space; and Economic and Financial Corruption. Ezinne is focused on advancing the Sustainable Developmental Goals Agenda in Africa and maintaining core principles of Human Rights in the society.

Ezinne has led pro-bono matters from trial to verdict and has participated in volunteer works for empowering youths and entrepreneurs. Ezinne hopes to carry out more volunteer works with International Organizations like the UN Human Rights, UN Women, ILO, and the likes.

Samaila Jamilu

Ojochege Charles Ali

Charles is a member of the Firms Dispute Resolution Team with focus on Medical Law. He has gained experience acting for Claimants in clinical negligence cases. He has experience in a wide range of claims, including delays in diagnosis, medication errors, birth injuries, orthopaedic injuries and failures to consent for treatment. He also specializes in healthcare law and defending high value, complex clinical negligence claims.

As a medical Lawyer he also prides himself in representing doctors or pharmaceutical individuals wrongful prosecuted or undervalued in the workspace ensuring that their rights are rightfully and efficiently represented.

Prior to joining Omaplex law firm, Charles has worked as an intern and Counsel in chambers on reputable law firms in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
