In a fast-paced ever-changing world that is filled with diverse needs, wants, and qualities, it is vital that systems and societal standards also change to fit into this setting. It is based on this that an analysis of the educational system of Nigeria in line with concepts that are fundamental to the growth and development of the nation is needed and carried out. The assessment shows an understanding of what the Nigerian educational system looks like, what the concepts of diversity, inclusion, and equity have to do with the sector along with the role it plays if properly infused.

On the 12th of June 2023, the Nigerian President assented to the Students Loan Bill. The Act is designed to assist indigent students in public institutions of higher learning to access government loans for their tuition. As part of efforts to implement the Act, a sum of 50 billion naira was approved for the Loan Scheme, in the 2024 budgetary allocation.
